Healesville Sanctuary offers international students the opportunity to be immersed in the magnificent Australian bush amongst its iconic flora and fauna.

In the Discovery Centre, students from all countries are able to meet Australian animals up close. Sessions can be adapted to suit primary, secondary and tertiary students.
Learning out comes for students include:

Forming questions and asking about animals;
Listening practice and answering questions about animals;
New cultural understandings as students practise their English in the context of learning about Australian animals, including how we interpret animal behaviour to ensure the animals' comfort and how we live alongside wildlife in the suburbs.

Suitable for students who are new arrivals, on study tours or exchange students with their hosts.

Students can enjoy their day visiting the Platypus, Koala, Kangaroo and many more.
