VELS Levels 1 & 2
Habitat Detectives is a fun student-centred program that encourages children to look closely at the environment that surrounds them whilst exploring the natural beauty of a grassland habitat.
The program introduces the concept of habitats as homes for wildlife.
Once students have explored the habitats and searched for clues, they are able to meet the exciting creatures that call grasslands, forests and wetlands home!
Once you're back at school you can still be habitat detectives- have a go at the habitat assessment sheet and let us know what animals hang out in your school habitat!
