Ranger in Danger book signing this Easter

30 March 2010
Don't miss the Ranger in Danger book signing!

The creators of the amazing new adventure series Ranger in Danger will be signing copies of their new books at Werribee Open Range Zoo this Saturday (April 3) from 1pm until 2.30pm.

Come and meet Sean Willmore and Alison Reynolds at the zoo's Safari Shop which is now selling Diablo's Doom and Hernando's Labyrinth.

The books, aimed at 8 to 11 year olds, capture the thrills and chills experienced by international wildlife rangers in their quest to protect the natural environment. Fast-paced and entertaining storylines catapult you into the middle of deadly action.

Sean Willmore is the Director of the Thin Green Line Foundation, an organisation that supports the families of Park Rangers killed on the frontline of conservation around the world and also helps to prevent further ranger deaths.

A former Victorian Park Ranger, Sean filmed fellow rangers in 23 countries creating a documentary called 'The Thin Green Line' which premiered around the globe in 2007. Since then, $200,000 has been raised to help the families of rangers killed in the line of duty.

Last year Sean won a United Nations environment award for his work and is continuing his efforts to help families in need of support. The new book series, stemming from his global adventures, will continue support for this important cause. Author, Alison Reynolds, is the writer of the series.

The Ranger in Danger books are on sale at Werribee Open Range Zoo, Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and other major book retailers.
