In 2012, Melbourne Zoo will host the 67th annual World Associations of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) conference. We are very excited and look forward to hosting guests from zoos and aquaria from around the world, especially during our milestone 150th anniversary year.

Melbourne Zoo is one of three Zoos Victoria properties and is a cultural icon and popular tourist destination. We invite you to visit and experience our three great zoos next October and help us celebrate our milestone birthday.

A core part of our business is conservation and encouraging conservation action from our visitors as they connect to our amazing animals. We look forward to sharing these connections with you. Zoos Victoria will also showcase our Fighting Extinctions commitment to save endangered native wildlife. We are ensuring that NO Victorian terrestrial vertebrate species shall become extinct on our watch.
